The Benefits of Having a Virtual Office Address in Hong Kong

12/30/2014 16:21

If you're an avid user browsing around the net chances are you've probably heard about these virtual offices before in one way or another. If you're curious, just read on.

So what exactly are they?
Virtual Offices, contrary to the name, are not actually virtual. These are real address that basically acts like a forward shipping address. Every call, mail, packages are forwarded to the address you set in record. But that is not the only services they provide, most of them give you access to a meeting space that you can use to meet clients in person. Basically a virtual office is a cheap affordable way to extend your business reach.

So what are the benefits?
Imagine you have a business, and both you and a competitor are based on say Los Angeles. Potential client A is looking for a business to use, now the kicker is that client A is in HK. Who do you think will get business? Chances are both you and your competitor won't get the business. Clients looks for something reachable, a business on the other side of the world isn't really reachable. Of course with the advent of the internet that isn't entirely true anymore but the fact still holds true. Businesses with a local presence have a distinct advantage.

Now imagine you have virtual office address in Hong Kong. Potential client A can see you have an office in LA and HK. Now who do you think the client is more likely to pick? The completely local business or you the international company that successfully expanded into HK (in their eyes)? When it comes to business first impressions lasts and having a virtual office really helps. It gives you and your business a sense of locality.

Okay but why Hong Kong, and not some other city in Asia?
Hong Kong is the center of financial markets in Asia. And as you know more money = more business. Sure you could get a virtual office in some other city but it's unlikely that would get the same result as getting one in Hong Kong. In the end it's your choice.

My Flat Iron Experience

09/17/2014 17:24

I have always preferred natural hair for personal reasons. The problem with my natural hair is that I sometimes run out of ideas when it comes to styling. No one hates some spice in life and that includes hair styles. I also do not like monotony since it can be especially boring. I was always wondering how to attain a new hairstyle apart from my usual coils, curls and kinks. This is why I love flat ironing my hair every now and then.

I am usually very thorough when I am about the process of thermal processing my hair; from the very beginning to the end. Basically, I always know when I anticipate straightening my hair – I begin preparing 2 to 3 weeks earlier. I normally use this period to prepare well for this potentially damaging process. Of course the act of straightening your hair is quite risky particularly because of the exposure to heat. This is the number one reason why I usually prepare ahead of time. I must bring to your attention that I have so far succeeded in flat ironing my hair without attracting any heat damage. This is why I want to share some of the dos and don’ts when you are anticipating a flat iron.

Let us begin with the dos

To eliminate build up, clean your hair with an apple cider vinegar or clarifying shampoo. Ensure to deep condition your once in a week 2 to 3 weeks before straightening. Your tresses should be treated to hydration therapy. Protein treatment is essential before flat ironing- use a moisturizing conditioner that has hydrolyzed proteins. Use liquid heat protectant after towel drying your hair and finally all your hair appliances should be kept clean. Use protein treatment after you are done with the flat iron style. It is important for your hair to be reconstructed.

The don’ts

By all means avoid butters and oils before a flat iron- the heat can fry your hair. At 451 degrees, your hair will burn; you really do not want this to happen. Do not pass flat iron more than once over each hair section. It shouldn’t be done every day. Avoid water based moisturizers as well as steam to prevent your hair from reverting or frizzing. I am sure you do not want your efforts to be in vain.

This is basically how I have managed to maintain damage free hair even after I’m done with a flat ironed do.

Living alone in an apartment, I have to fork out my own money for every single piece of furniture as well as electrical appliance in the house. Just when I could not decide whether if I should install an air conditioner in the living room or in my own room, I found just the right solution. Thanks to the portable air conditioner reviews that I read online.

They gave me great advices as well as a good idea to spend less while enjoying more. After reading from several websites, I finally made my mind to invest on a unit that works based on magnetic refrigerator cooling technology. Since no installation is required for this type of air conditioner, I could easily carry the unit with me wherever I go. Not only that I can enjoy the cool breeze in the living room and my bedroom, I no longer need to go through the ovenly weather in the kitchen while preparing meals.
